September 15, 2009 Board Meeting Agenda Item #37 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #0516 FOR COMMERCIAL ROOF INSTALLATION AND REPAIR SERVICES Description Bids to provide 'Commercial Roof Installation and Repair Services' were received from 12 vendors on August 4, 2009.  The bids of Consumer Roofing Industries, Inc., Crowther Roofing, and Gulfstates Industries, Inc., were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of Consumer Roofing Industries, Inc., Crowther Roofing, and Gulfstates Industries, Inc., to provide 'Commercial Roof Installation and Repair Services' in an amount not to exceed $500,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
